Cherkizovo opens a car repair shop in Moscow

A quarter of a hectare in the east of Moscow was allocated for the investment project of the Cherkizovo Group of Companies, in the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow. The Cherkizovsky MEAT processing plant is one of the oldest enterprises of Cherkizovo, the plant produces 100 thousand tons of products per year and produces meat products for the whole of Moscow and the Moscow region, the department said.

In the allocated territories, the enterprise will build a workshop where they will repair cars, and a diesel forklift service, the ministry said. Due to this, Cherkizovo plans to reduce the financial burden on the enterprise in the field of logistics and transport services, and the money saved in this way will be used to increase production and modernize enterprises.

The department also added that the Cherkizovsky meat processing plant is also receiving other support from the government. For example, in 2016, the plant was given the status of an industrial complex, due to which the plant saved 80 million rubles on taxes, which it could use to modernize production and increase production volumes.

Cherkizovo Group regularly expands its production. According to the company, only in the last months of 2022 the company acquired the enterprises of the Healthy Farm Group of Companies in the Urals, which will increase the output of chicken meat to 1 million tons per year, and several enterprises of the Bashkir group of companies Russian Grain Ufa, including poultry processing plants enterprises and a feed mill.
