Agroexport: Russian exports of meat and dairy products grew by 27% in 2021

The Federal Center "Agroexport" provides such data in the "Operational review of exports of agricultural products." The document compares data on exports in value terms for 2021, through September 12, with the same period in 2020.

According to Agroexport, from the beginning of 2021 by September 12, meat and dairy products were exported from Russia for a total of 990 million US dollars . In 2020, this figure reached $777 million by September.

Of this figure, poultry meat for 2021 was exported for $313 million, pork for $277 million, and beef for $131 million.

The Ministry of Agriculture sees no reason for strong jumps in prices for milk and meat

From dairy products, cheeses and cottage cheese, $73 million was exported (for comparison, in 2020 this figure was at the level of $55 million), ice cream exports amounted to $64 million in monetary terms.
