"The strain of the virus that we are dealing with now causes a less severe course of the disease than earlier variants. We are well protected by vaccines. This allows us to relax so many restrictions," he said.

The requirement for a safe distance of one meter when spectators sit in their seats in theaters and cinemas is canceled, the sale of ALCOHOL in public catering outlets has also been canceled, isolation periods have been reduced from six to four days.
Also, the requirement to test for coronavirus before entering Norway is no longer valid.
