Minsk . A truck driver with a blood
alcohol level of 3.2 ppm was detained in the
Minsk region, the Minsk Regional Executive Committee's Department of Internal Affairs told BelTA.
A traffic police crew was on duty near the agrotown of Mikhanovichi on August 12. A passing motorist reported to officers that a GAZ truck on Sovetskaya Street might be driven by
a drunk driver. Upon arrival, traffic police officers quickly located and detained the 51-year-old driver, a Minsk resident, who showed clear signs of intoxication.
"A medical examination confirmed his
alcohol intoxication with an absolute ethyl alcohol level of 3.2 ppm in his exhaled air," law enforcement officials reported .
