In Minsk, two men abducted and dismantled a motorcycle for parts

May 5, MINSK. The attackers stole and dismantled a Minsk woman's motorcycle for parts. BelTA was informed about this in the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

According to the department, a Minsker turned to the police, who reported the disappearance of her motorcycle under unknown circumstances. She parked the vehicle near the house and covered it with a cover, and after a while she discovered its absence.

Employees of the Oktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs of the capital, with the support of the OMON police department of the Minsk City Executive Committee, detained 22- and 37-year-old unemployed residents of Minsk on suspicion of stealing a motorcycle. Law enforcement officers found that the friends were returning home at night and, noticing a parked motorcycle, decided to steal it. The defendants broke the steering column and rolled the vehicle along the road. The stolen motorcycle was hidden in the garage, dismantled for spare parts and planned to be sold, but did not have time, as they were detained by police officers.

The detainees explained that at the time of the theft they were in a state of alcoholic intoxication . Men have previously been repeatedly prosecuted for property crimes.

The detainees were charged with theft.
