April 12, Brest. The Brest inter-district department of the Investigative Committee is investigating a criminal case of a robbery on a 28-year-old man, BelTA informs citing the official representative of the regional USC Roman Zarmaev.

On the night of April 6, a Brest resident rested in a nightclub. He drank himself and treated alcohol to a 28-year-old native of Orsha. Two guys aged 18 and 19 drew attention to this and decided that a generous vacationer could have a large amount of money. They persuaded his drinking companion to take the cash.

The attackers took the Brest resident to the street. There, the senior defendant began to choke him, knocked him to the ground and held him while his accomplices checked his pockets. They managed to find and steal Br200. The trio then fled. The "booty" was divided: two guys took most of it for themselves, and they gave Br20 to a native of Orsha.

The injured man contacted the police. The operatives detained the attackers. "It was established that the 19-year-old suspect had previously been prosecuted for attempted theft. The youngest turned out to be the most hardened: he had previously committed theft, robbery and hooliganism," said Roman Zarmaev.

A criminal case has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 207 of the Criminal Code. Three defendants were taken into custody with the sanction of the prosecutor. Investigative actions are being carried out with them now, all the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
