Drunk and without a license: electric scooter driver detained in Gomel

April 19, Minsk . A drunk driver of an electric scooter has been detained in Gomel . This was reported to BELTA by the Gomel Regional Executive Committee Department of Internal Affairs.

Employees of the traffic police battalion noticed a scooter moving along the roadway, the driver of which was not wearing a motorcycle helmet. Behind the wheel was a 49-year-old local resident who had never received a driver's license, and was also intoxicated. A medical examination confirmed 2.5 ppm of alcohol.

Three administrative protocols were drawn up against the man. The electric scooter was taken to a guarded parking lot.
