A Minsk resident killed an acquaintance during a feast. Investigative Committee about the details of the criminal case

July 14, Minsk . The Office of the Investigative Committee for the city of Minsk revealed the details of the criminal case of the brutal murder of a 47-year-old man . BELTA was informed about this by the Investigative Committee.

As the department said, on the morning of January 25 this year, the body of a 47-year-old Minsk resident was found in one of the apartments of the building on Kazintsa Street with numerous damages. Investigators established that the day before the deceased had usedalcohol in the company of a 41-year-old acquaintance. He was detained on suspicion of murder. It turned out that on January 23, the accused was late for his father’s funeral and came to see a friend. They drank alcohol for several hours . Soon a conflict broke out between them. The accused stabbed his acquaintance numerous times with a knife and other objects. In total, the defendant struck at least 17 blows. After the murder, he went to his father's wake. Experts determined that the man died almost immediately from his injuries. His body was discovered by a neighbor.

It is reported that the defendant worked as a loader and had previously been repeatedly convicted of hooliganism, fraud and theft. His actions are qualified under clause 6, part 2, article 139 (murder committed with extreme cruelty) of the Criminal Code. A preventive measure in the form of detention was applied to the man.
