A Minsk resident and a foreigner under the guise of entrepreneurs deceived more than 50 organizations for Br1 million

February 13, MINSK. Operatives of the BEP of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate and the Pervomaisky District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk stopped the activities of a group of fraudsters who illegally took possession of the goods of Belarusian manufacturers. BelTA was informed about this in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

it was established that a 47-year-old Minsker and a 55-year-old foreign citizen created a network of fictitious organizations. On behalf of these organizations, using dummy leaders, as well as two employees aged 50 and 60, the defendants carried out fraudulent activities. Roles within the firm were clearly defined. The attackers approached suppliers across the country and purchased bulk quantities of food with deferred payment. Subsequently, under various pretexts, they evaded payment, and the goods received were sold abroad. The men divided the proceeds among themselves, after which they spent them mainly on casinos and ALCOHOL .

As a result of the criminal activities of the defendants, about 50 organizations throughout the country suffered. The damage caused to only three organizations in the capital amounted to Br92 thousand. According to preliminary estimates, the total amount of losses will be about Br1 million.

Investigators opened a criminal case for fraud by a group of persons by prior agreement.
