Police pay increased attention to the safety of minors, because children , due to their age, are more at risk of falling under bad influence and ending up in drug networks.

“In particular danger are children aged 15-17 who recently came to the capital to study and were left without parental supervision. They have just left the walls of school and really want to show their independence, try what their parents and teachers forbade. Unfortunately, sometimes it’s a choice falls onALCOHOL or drugs," the police said.

For these reasons, anti-drug raids are regularly carried out in the capital's hostels, including with the involvement of a dog handler and a service dog trained to search for prohibited substances. Such raids were carried out by employees of the Moskovsky and Partizansky district police departments of Minsk as part of the information and preventive action "Drugs. Responsibility. Consequences."

During the raid, service shepherd dogs examined common areas, corridors, bathrooms, and also, with the permission of the guys, their personal rooms. Fortunately, no drugs or traces of them were found.

Law enforcement officers once again reminded the young people of the responsibility provided for illegal drug trafficking, as well as the dangers of using psychotropics and vapes.
