GAI of the Grodno region will strengthen control on the roads at rush hour and at night

November 26, Minsk. From Friday to Monday, the traffic police will strengthen control at rush hour and at night on sections of roads and settlements. BelTA was informed about this by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee.

The orders will be aimed at identifying gross violations of traffic rules that are the causes of accidents with serious consequences, as well as violations of the rules by vulnerable road users. The physical condition of drivers, as well as disenfranchised driving, will be monitored. Pedestrians who must move on roads with flickers at night will not be left without attention.

"Dear pedestrians, in the dark, identify yourself with the help of reflective elements. Because thanks to flickers, you will protect yourself and thereby warn the driver about your movement. Dear drivers, due to changing weather conditions, you should take care in advance to replace summer tires with winter ones, and also switch to a winter driving style and do not forget about a safe speed and distance. This will help you avoid serious consequences.
