September 2, Brest. A decision was made to liquidate a legal entity operating a computer gaming club based on a claim filed by the Baranovichi Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office. This was reported by BELTA with reference to the information service of the Brest Region Prosecutor's Office.
Residents of an apartment building complained about noise in the building.
it turned out that last autumn, a private company opened a computer club in a rented basement space that had not been put into operation in accordance with the established procedure, without obtaining permission from the Baranovichi City Executive Committee.
"At the same time, the tenant did not comply with the established
requirements of the law. In particular, according to the documentation, the premises were called a storeroom, but in fact, game rooms were arranged in it. The standards for the placement of work desks in the halls were not observed, and there was no natural light in the premises. Violations of fire safety requirements were established. The establishment worked at night and sold alcoholic beverages and beer without the consent of the city executive committee," the prosecutor's office listed.
The owners ignored the demands of the regulatory and supervisory authorities to eliminate the violations identified. "Despite the proposals to suspend the activities, the computer club continued to operate with gross violations of the requirements of the law, which, given the nature of the violations identified, could have resulted in injury and death of people," the prosecutor's office explained.
In connection with this, the
DIRECTOR of the company was brought to administrative responsibility. Based on the violations identified, the Baranovichi Interdistrict
Prosecutor's Office filed a claim with the Economic
COURT of the Brest Region to liquidate the legal entity. This requirement was satisfied. The court's decision entered into legal force.
