Stavropol Russian Agricultural Center shared experience with colleagues from Tatarstan

In the Stavropol Rosselkhoztsentr, a meeting was held with the HEAD of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Rosselkhoztsentr in the Republic of Tatarstan, Vitaly Leonidovich Novichkov.
The head of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rosselkhoztsentr" in the Stavropol Territory Andrey Yuryevich Oleinikov acquainted the guest with the work of the institution.
He showed the toxicological laboratory, the seed department and the plant protection department. He spoke about the research that is being carried out on the territory of the regional branch - this is the determination of the active substance in pesticide preparations and the quality of dressing. These studies allow farmers not only to protect the crop, but also to increase it, as well as save money. A PCR laboratory and new equipment were also demonstrated, allowing a wide range of studies, including the determination of the content of pesticide residues in crop products and other objects.
Specialists of the Seed Department spoke about the types of work carried out by the department. This is the determination of sowing and varietal qualities of seeds, as well as certification of seed and planting material.
The department of plant protection spoke about the ongoing monitoring in the region, about which diseases prevail in the fields this year, as well as about the very successful fight against pathogens using biological products.
Then there was a trip to the fields of the SPK “Kolkhoz “Ternovsky” of the Trunovsky district, where the chairman of the collective farm, Eduard Gennadievich Iltinsky, acquainted the delegation of the Rosselkhoztsentr, as well as the deputy head of the administration of the Trunovsky district, Pavel Anatolyevich Sheikin, with the technology of cultivating winter and spring wedges. During which Vitaly Leonidovich was very interested in the irrigation system on the farm.
A solution unit was also demonstrated, designed for the production of complex fertilizers and a working solution of plant protection products of various formulations and concentrations for processing field crops.
Then the guests visited the "Agronomist's Field", where 17 varieties of winter wheat were sown on small experimental plots.
The final part of the tour was a visit to Trunovskiye Sady LLC, where plantings of various varieties of APPLE, cherry, and plum trees were examined. The head of the garden Kazdokhov Zaur Ruslanovich spoke about the history of the creation of the garden, familiarized him with its work, as well as ongoing treatments. The most interesting thing is that drip irrigation is carried out in the garden and all apple trees are covered with hail nets that protect against hail and sunburn, while allowing them to maintain their presentation.
