Agricultural producers of Kabardino-Balkaria are increasing the volume of agricultural production

According to the North Caucasus Statistics, in the first five months of 2022, agricultural producers of all forms of ownership in Kabardino-Balkaria increased the volume of agricultural production by 3.5% in a comparable estimate to the level of January-May 2021. In current prices, according to calculations, the volume of agricultural production amounted to 10.5 billion rubles.
In general, the industry is functioning normally: harvesting of crops is gaining momentum, the number of farm animals is growing, and the production of the main types of livestock products is increasing.
According to Severo-Kavkazstat, all categories of farms in January-May 2022 produced over 181 thousand tons of MILK, which is 101.7% compared to the same period last year.
In the five months of 2022, 37.7 thousand tons of livestock and poultry MEAT for slaughter in live weight were received, which is 6.5% more than a year earlier.
Egg production increased by 3.4% - almost 77 million eggs were received.
