State support for crop production in Transbaikalia will exceed the level of 2022 by 1.5 times

The amount of subsidies that this year will be sent to agricultural producers in Transbaikalia for the development of the crop industry will be one and a half times higher than last year's level. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of the region Denis Bochkarev.
“State support for the crop industry in Transbaikalia will amount to 576 million rubles. This is almost one and a half times higher than a year earlier. The increase in funding occurred for a number of programs, first of all, for putting fallow lands into circulation,” said the head of the regional agrarian department.
He noted that at present, funds in the amount of 50 million rubles have been brought to the recipients from the regional budget for spring field work.
“By April 24, we will send another tranche of “spring” money to the farms of Transbaikalia. Farmers will receive subsidies to support gross output in the amount of 100 million rubles,” Denis Bochkarev specified.
In total, until the end of April, the total amount of state support provided to agricultural producers in the region since the beginning of the year will amount to 417 million rubles, which is 43.5% of the planned limit for supporting the agro-industrial complex in 2023.
