The authorities of the Kirov region spoke about 90% of occupied beds in hospitals

The bed fund of the Kirov region for patients with CORONAVIRUS is 90% loaded, RBC was told in the press service of the Ministry of HEALTH of the Kirov region.

“We have about 10% of the bed fund [for patients with coronavirus] free. The healthcare system is coping, we are opening infectious diseases hospitals, creating new places, if necessary. Everything is being monitored on a daily basis,” the Ministry of Health said.

5,391 people are being treated in hospital, follows from the publication of the regional government on the VKontakte social network. At the same time, 204 patients are in the intensive care unit, 42 people are connected to a ventilator. Another 10,672 people are being treated at home.

According to the operational headquarters, 253 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in the Kirov region over the past day. Four people died, 151 recovered. Since the start of the covid-19 pandemic, more than 63.2 thousand people have fallen ill in the region, 595 have died and more than 57.5 thousand have recovered.
