The Borovsk poultry farm has been excluded from the 2025 privatization plan.

This decision is due to a lack of interest in purchasing the company's shares. The auction to sell shares in JSC "Borovskaya Poultry Farm named after A.A. Sozonov" was declared void due to a lack of bids. The explanatory note to the bill states that selling shares by other means is impractical and ineffective for the regional budget. The initial starting price for the asset was 10.8 billion rubles, but not a single bid was received. Regional authorities decided not to lower the bidding price, as they did with the Benat plant, and now expect the proceeds from the sale to be used to cover the budget deficit, although this will require resorting to borrowing.
