49 new cases of COVID-19 infection detected

According to the headquarters, out of 49 new cases of the disease, one is imported, the rest are contacts. 15 people have been hospitalized, 34 are being treated at home.

28 new cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Kazan. Eight new cases were detected in Naberezhnye Chelny, five in the Tukaevsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan, two each in Bugulminsky and Pestrechinsky, one each in Bavlinsky, Yelabuga, Mamadyshsky and Nurlatsky districts.

A total of 961,123 people were vaccinated in Tatarstan, of which 800,427 received a second vaccination.

In RUSSIA, 19,454 people were infected per day, the operational headquarters said. The total number of cases exceeded 6.7 million. More than 6 million people recovered (15.4 thousand per day), more than 176 thousand died (plus 776 per day).
