In Crimea, the 18th day in a row revealed a record number of cases of COVID per day

In Crimea, 612 new cases of coronavirus were detected per day. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Health of the region. According to the data of the operational headquarters, this is a record since the beginning of the pandemic. The maximum infection rates on the peninsula are recorded for the 18th day in a row.

The daily record for the number of infected COVID-19 began to be updated on October 2, when 409 new cases were recorded, the same figure was on July 18. The next day, this figure was exceeded and amounted to 421 cases per day.

According to the Ministry of Health of Crimea, the total number of cases was 89,459 people. Also, 14 people died from coronavirus per day, in total, 2820 people died during the pandemic in Crimea, 814 people recovered.

On the eve of Crimea, mandatory vaccination against COVID-19 was introduced for employees in some areas. Thus, according to the latest data, there are only two regions left in Russia - Kalmykia and Ingushetia - where this measure has not yet been introduced.
