Software vendors report a 40% increase in demand for protection Targeted attack protection is in high demand

Tyumen businessmen began to apply for protection against cyberattacks more often. Among businesses, applications for security software are up nearly 40% as attacks become more complex and more common. RBC Tyumen was told about this in Kaspersky Lab.

“Attacks are getting bigger and they are getting harder. Therefore, the issue of cybersecurity remains one of the most relevant for companies across the country, and the demand for almost all cybersecurity products is growing. In the Tyumen region, in the first quarter of 2022, the number of new licenses for B2B products increased by almost 40% compared to the same period in 2021,” said Boris Shalopin, HEAD of Regional Corporate Sales at Kaspersky Lab.

According to the expert, business solutions such as protection against targeted attacks, a monitoring and management console for a cybersecurity system, a threat detection and response system, and mail server protection are in great demand.

According to Andrey Tikhonov, marketing DIRECTOR of Creative, a Tyumen mobile and web development agency, information security products can be useful for large data companies and the state apparatus.

“Firstly, such solutions will be relevant for all companies that work with large databases of users that fall under the law on the protection of personal information, for example, federal and municipal sites for working with documents. Secondly, services and sites that need to work continuously, and stopping them can harm the company, need protection, ”Tikhonov explained to the publication.
