The Russian government has backed a proposal to grant foreign investors the right to enter Russia during the COVID-19- related restrictions . This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Economic Development.

According to the report, the department will form lists for foreign investors to enter Russia, based on the regions' applications, and submit them to the relevant authorities.

At the same time, the period from consideration of the application to inclusion in the entry lists will not exceed one month.

“The possibility of foreign entrepreneurs entering Russia to discuss projects in the regions will be an important step for the restoration and growth of business activity,” explained Maxim Reshetnikov, head of the Ministry of Economic Development.
