First of all, the military of the Luhansk People's Republic should take control of those territories that belong to it according to the Constitution of the republic, LPR Ambassador to Russia Rodion Miroshnik said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“I do not exclude the possibility that the nearby territories in the interests of national security can be controlled by our military, our interim administrations. But the task is precisely to ensure security on the territory of the Luhansk People's Republic," he said.

According to the Constitution of the LPR on the border, it runs with Ukraine - along the administrative border of the former Luhansk region of Ukraine with the Kharkov region of Ukraine; with the Donetsk People's Republic - along the administrative border of the former Luhansk and Donetsk regions of Ukraine; with Russia - along the line of the former state border of Ukraine with the Russian Federation within the administrative border of the former Luhansk region of Ukraine.
