New record: 206 new cases of COVID-19 infection detected in Tajikistan

According to the headquarters, out of 206 new cases, four are imported, the rest are contact cases. 53 people have been hospitalized, 153 are being treated at home.

In Kazan, 135 cases were confirmed per day, 26 in Naberezhnye Chelny, eight in the Tukaevsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan, five each in Almetyevsk and Nizhnekamsk, four each in Verkhneuslonsky and Vysokogorsky, three each in Zainsky and Chistopolsky, two each in Mamadyshsky , Nurlatsky and Pestrechinsky, one each - in Agryzsky, Aksubaevsky, Arsky, Zelenodolsky, Laishevsky, Mendeleevsky and Muslyumovsky districts.

The deputy HEAD of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Tatarstan, Lyubov Avdonina, said that the increase in the incidence of COVID-19 in the republic continues. The increase compared to the previous day was 9.5%. According to her, it is not yet necessary to talk about a downward trend.

“In September, the traditional rise of SARS began. We entered it with a fairly high incidence of COVID-19. Let me remind you that from September 13, from week to week, we began to record an increase in the incidence. It continues for six weeks. If in the first weeks the increase was 2%, then 6%, 13%, then on the 40th week the increase was already 38%. At 41 and 42 weeks, it stayed at +28%, and for the previous week, the increase was 22%,” she said at a press conference at Tatar-inform news agency.
