A group of people's deputies from the Servant of the People faction registered in the Verkhovna Rada a bill on the procedure and consequences of the ban on "pro-Russian parties" in Ukraine, Olga Sovgirya, a deputy from the presidential faction, said on her Telegram channel.
“In the conditions of martial law, cases on the ban of a political party as a court of first instance are within the jurisdiction of the administrative court of appeal in the appellate district, which includes the city of Lviv,” the parliamentarian wrote.
The maximum term for consideration of administrative cases on banning a party in the court of first instance after the opening of proceedings is proposed to be determined at one month. The court of appeal must consider the case within a month after the opening of the appeal proceedings.
In addition, if the party is banned by the court, its property, funds and other assets and structural formations will be transferred to the ownership of the state, Sovgirya pointed out.
The document was published on the website of the Parliament under the registration number 7172-1.
