The Ministry of Health announced the closure of one covid hospital in Novosibirsk

According to the head of the department, this is due to the stabilization of the epidemic situation in the region.

The Minister of Health of the Novosibirsk Region, Konstantin Khalzov, at a meeting with journalists, announced the conversion of a hospital for patients with COVID-19 , created on the platform of a dermatovenerologic dispensary.

Khalzov noted that out of more than 6.3 thousand places in the bed fund, 1 thousand beds are currently empty.

“Over the past week, we have seen stabilization in hospitalizations. More patients are being discharged, either with recovery or for outpatient follow-up care. This week, a decision was made to re-profile the dermatovenerological dispensary to organize medical care according to the profile, ”Khalzov said.

The minister added that if the positive trend continues, the authorities may decide to use other covid hospitals according to their profile.

The minister said that at the moment, 570.6 thousand people have been vaccinated with the first component of the COVID-19 vaccine. 475.1 thousand local residents have completed vaccination.
