Russia remains in the "red" group of countries for which Cyprus has more stringent requirements for newly arrived citizens. This is stated in the message of the Cypriot Ministry of Health.

According to the ministry, the "red" group includes countries where the risk of contracting coronavirus is higher than in others. Russia's neighbors in the group are Armenia, Great Britain, Georgia, USA , UAE, Ukraine, France, the Baltic states and others.

Citizens arriving from these regions are required to take a coronavirus test within 72 hours before departure and present an appropriate certificate upon arrival. At the same time, upon arrival, already in Cyprus, they are required to undergo a second PCR test.
