The plane of the Azur Air airline, which flew from Perm to Goa last night, made an emergency landing in Uzbekistan. The reason was information about the threat of an explosion. Such a letter was sent to the e-mail of the head of the Indian airport Dabolim, according to the Aviaincident Telegram channel.

According to the channel, there were 238 passengers (including two babies) on board the plane, as well as seven crew members. For security reasons, the aircraft was redirected to Uzbekistan.

Later it became known that an Azur Air flight flying from Perm to Goa made an emergency landing in Uzbekistan at the request of the Indian authorities. This is reported by Izvestia with reference to the press service of the air carrier.

“The authorities banned the Perm-Goa flight from entering the country’s airspace half an hour before the planned crossing of the Indian border,” the Azur Air press service quotes the publication.

The company added that the plane made a safe landing at the alternate airfield at Termez International Airport. The plane, luggage and hand luggage were carefully checked by the airport security staff. No hazardous substances or devices found.
