Experts called the number of parents who supported the abolition of masks for teachers

The idea to cancel the mask regime for school teachers in Moscow was supported by 75% of the parents of schoolchildren surveyed by the SuperJob service. RBC has the results of the survey.

Only 10% of respondents were against the abolition of the mandatory mask regime for teachers. Opponents of this idea believe that the new strain of the covid-19 pathogen is more contagious, which means that schoolchildren and teachers are still at risk.

Parents under 39 are more likely to approve the abolition of the mandatory mask regime for teachers than those over 40 (78% vs. 73%). Supporters of the idea argue their position by the fact that from an epidemiological point of view, there is little point in wearing a mask when there are 30 students in a class without masks.

1,000 parents of schoolchildren from the capital took part in the survey.
