Ukraine wants to achieve direct negotiations between Presidents Volodymyr Zelensky and Vladimir Putin, said Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba.
“We have long wanted a direct conversation, <...> because everyone understands that it is he [Putin] who makes the final decisions, especially now,” he said live on Ukrainian television (quoted by Reuters).
“Our president is not afraid of anything, including a direct meeting with Putin. If Putin is also not afraid, let him come to the meeting, let them sit down and talk,” Kuleba added.
