
The Rostov region will receive 1.81 billion rubles to support the regional healthcare system. The funds will be provided by the federal budget, follows from the order signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the document is published on the website of the Russian government.
The money will be used to finance the costs associated with the provision of medical care, including to persons suffering from COVID-19 . In total, Russian regions will receive 85 billion rubles to support healthcare systems.
“Such support will allow timely admission of patients with various diseases in conditions of increased workload on medical facilities, as well as focusing additional resources on countering COVID-19. This includes financial support for inpatient treatment. In June, 25 billion rubles were already allocated for these purposes, ”the explanatory note says.
As RBC Rostov previously reported, more than 77 billion rubles will be disbursed in the Don region within the framework of the regional state program "Health Development" in 2021.
