In the Mogilev region, the chief livestock specialist of an agricultural enterprise overestimated milk yield, a criminal case was opened

April 8, Mogilev. In the Mogilev region, the chief livestock specialist who overestimated Milk yield became a defendant in a criminal case. BELTA was informed about this by the information service of the Mogilev region prosecutor's office.

The chief livestock specialist of the agro-industrial complex was charged with exceeding official authority after the prosecutor's office received a written appeal from an employee of the organization in September 2023 regarding additions to milk production indicators. These facts were confirmed during the inspection.

IT was established that from January to June 2023, the accused organized a fictitious overstatement of milk production indicators on a dairy farm. Then, in order to distort state statistical reporting data, at least 250 thousand liters of milk were allegedly transferred to a cattle fattening farm and written off as spent on feeding animals. Due to the fault of the accused, at least Br8 thousand were unjustifiably paid to the employees of the enterprise.

After studying the case materials, the Mogilev District Prosecutor's Office agreed with the qualification of the crime under Part 2 of Article 426 of the Criminal Code. The prosecutor left the previously chosen preventive measure against the accused in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the place and proper behavior.
