Russian Export Center Opens New Point of Promotion of Russian Food Products in Harbin

Now companies participating in the promotion program of the Russian EXPORT Center (VEB.RF Group) and the Russian Ministry of Agriculture will be able to expand their presence in the Heilongjiang Province market.

The opening ceremony of the new pavilion site was given by the General DIRECTOR of the Russian Export Center, Veronika Nikishina.

"Each province of CHINA is a separate market, the entrance to which must be worked out purposefully and consciously. We see the potential for growth in agricultural exports to Heilongjiang Province, and we note the interest of local authorities and businesses in increasing the supply of high-quality Russian products. The new pavilion site will help our manufacturers establish contacts with the local business community, increase their recognition and find new buyers," Veronika Nikishina noted.

The opening ceremony was also attended by government officials from Heilongjiang Province and Harbin City: Vice Mayor of Harbin Guo Shunmin, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Harbin New Area Xiao Bin, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Harbin Municipal People's Congress Sun Zhe, Vice President of the Heilongjiang Provincial Trade Development Council Yu Xuesong, Deputy Director of the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Commerce He Song, Director of the Harbin Investment Promotion Bureau Xu Zhidong, Deputy Mayor of Songbei District of Harbin City Chen Fangye and Director of the Harbin New Area Commerce Bureau Chen Liang.

The pavilion in Harbin will feature samples of over 600 food products from over fifty Russian companies participating in the Good Food RUSSIA program . Thus, on an area of ​​over 300 sq. m., potential partners — local distributors, representatives of retail chains — will be able to evaluate Russian confectionery, dairy, MEAT and fish products, as well as various drinks and much more. For example, the site already features products from the brands "Uncle Vanya" and "Belevskaya Pastila", as well as oils from the largest Russian manufacturer.
