Farmers in Italy oppose a plan to combat diseases in cattle, according to which sick animals are simply destroyed.
Buffalo breeders do not agree with this approach. In their opinion, healthy animals often fall under the destruction. In addition, such actions lead to the liquidation of many small farms.
The protesters insist on intensifying vaccination campaigns and carrying out preventive measures.
