May 24, MINSK . In Belarus, since 2010, agricultural production has increased by 30%. This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov at a joint meeting of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic, BelTA has learned.

"Food security has been ensured in the country. The work of the agro-industrial complex fully provides the domestic market with MEAT, MILK, vegetable oil, SUGAR, potatoes, vegetables and gourds. it is important that against the backdrop of a systematic reduction in state support, agricultural production has increased by 30% since 2010" - said Nikolai Snopkov.

Based on 1 hectare of agricultural land in 2022, budget expenditures amounted to $150 compared to $230 in 2010. "The result is that the return on Br1 of state support has increased by more than 2.6 times," the First Deputy Prime Minister noted.

The EXPORT of Belarusian food in 2022 increased to $8.3 billion. The increase over the year is almost a quarter.
