Ban on beef import from Belarus to Russia

A specialist from the North-West Interregional Administration of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR identified violations during veterinary control, including the absence of markings on the product and the absence of veterinary accompanying documents confirming its safety and origin. In addition, according to Rosselkhoznadzor instructions, the import of beef on the bone from Belarus, which does not have official status with the International Epizootic Bureau for Spongiform Encephalopathy, is prohibited.

The movement of beef on the bone is also prohibited in the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union. An act on the return of this cargo was drawn up.
