Agrarians of the Tver region are planned to make up for the costs of maintaining a single pedigree livestock. For this purpose, 79.8 million rubles will be allocated from the regional budget, which became known at a meeting of the regional government, where the implementation of the regional budget in 2021 was previously considered.

Breeding cattle are purebred animals with a reliable, documented origin, characterized by high productivity and good health. They allow the breed to survive. Breeding animals, the best of their kind, must be kept in a special way. Support for the breeding industry is of great importance for all animal husbandry. Especially in the current difficult economic conditions, when the agro-industrial complex is faced with anti-Russian sanctions.

The costs associated with the maintenance of pedigree livestock will be reimbursed to nine farms specializing in beef and dairy cattle breeding, horse breeding and sheep breeding. These are agricultural enterprises located in Konakovsky, Bezhetsky, Kalininsky, Zubtsovsky districts, Penovsky municipal and Kashinsky city districts.
