Tatarstan: SoyuzPlem: a new milestone in the development of livestock breeding

The Union of Dairy Breeding Organizations, abbreviated as SoyuzPlem, was established in July this year. The purpose of its creation is to represent and protect the professional interests of the members of the union - organizations and farms for pedigree dairy farming, assistance in their breeding work, coordination of the general activities of the members of the union, including business, as well as the formation of a favorable environment for the development of pedigree dairy farming of the Republic of Tatarstan .

Marat Zyabbarov made an opening speech. “The livestock sector in our Republic is one of the priority areas. I see the dynamics of development of breeding enterprises, the existing potential needs to be preserved and increased. SoyuzPlem should become the center of information support and the center of breeding business in the Republic of Tatarstan,” the minister noted.

Further, organizational issues were discussed at the meeting. According to the voting results, Ilfat Khakimov, director of Tukaevsky LLC, Atninsky municipal district, was elected Chairman of the SoyuzPlem Council .
