The Minister of Agriculture of Russia visited the production of Abi

The press center of the ABI Product holding reports that on Friday, July 15, the enterprise was visited by the Minister of Agriculture of Russia Dmitry Patrushev and Acting Governor of the Vladimir Region Alexander Avdeev as part of a working trip to the region. The guests of the company were met by Abi General Director Tatyana Trifonova. She showed them all the production sites in Vladimir, told them about the company's work and plans for business development.

According to the GfK-Rus Institute for Marketing and Social Research, Abi is the leader in the domestic market in terms of sales in tons in all categories of presence. The company provides a full production cycle: the purchase of raw materials, complex meat processing, marketing and distribution, transport and warehouse logistics and sales of finished products.

ABI Product owns three factories. The two most powerful ones operate in the Vladimir region. At the end of 2021, the total production of AI products amounted to 351 thousand tons (+ 18% year on year).

Dmitry Patrushev got acquainted with the activities of the Starodvorskiye Kolbasy plant, which supplies products to all regions of Russia and exports them to nine countries. The minister was shown and commented on the entire cycle of sausage production. He visited the areas of minced meat preparation, shaping, boiling, smoking and packaging.

The program of the business meeting included the presentation of two investment projects that Abi is implementing in Vladimir. The development of production capacities will ensure an increase in output by 217 thousand tons per year.

At the end of the meeting, the guests were shown a wide range of products under the Abi brands: Vyazanka, Goryachaya Shtushka, Bavarushka, Starodvorye, Vigorous Soot, more than 200 samples, including an innovative line of products based on vegetable protein, which will be on the market in the fourth quarter of 2022. When developing recipes, ingredients of domestic production were used.

Alexander Avdeev, Acting Governor of the Vladimir Region, noted that Abi's investment projects contribute to the socio-economic development of the region, and it is very important that the company implements them now - in a difficult and difficult to predict period. After the launch of new sites, more than 3,000 vacancies will appear at the enterprise.

According to Tatyana Trifonova, General Director of Abi, the entire team of the company, which employs more than 11,000 people, was pleased with the high appreciation of her work. The priority tasks of the enterprises of the ABI Product holding are the stable supply of Russian residents with high-quality food, the preservation and creation of new jobs, she stressed. The development of production capacities will help increase Abi's share in the market of sausages, frozen semi-finished products and frozen finished products in the Russian Federation, the CIS and non-CIS countries.
