Krasnoyarsk: 11 out of 12 samples of Doktorskaya sausage were found to be counterfeit

For the study, we purchased local products and samples that arrived in the Krasnoyarsk Territory from the Moscow, Pskov, Vladimir, Omsk, Novosibirsk regions, Khakassia and Mordovia.

A histological test showed that “Doctorskaya” from Novosibirsk contains starch, flour and bone chips. Of course, these components were not indicated during labeling. 

Based on the ratio of fat, protein and other ingredients in the composition, regional experts recognized products under the promoted brands of the Omsk Bacon company of the PRODO group, Velikoluksky Meat Processing Plant and CJSC Starodvorskie Sausages (TM Starodvorye) as counterfeit. Only the product of the Uyarsky meat processing plant (OJSC APK Uyarsky) turned out to fully meet all the requirements.
