The Irkutsk region has set a record for egg production, exceeding half a billion since the beginning of the year.

According to the regional government, egg production exceeded one billion last year, accounting for 156% of local needs. Further development of the poultry sector has been made possible by factory modernization, new investment projects, and government support, which helps offset equipment costs.
