“In 2023, we plan to modernize our conveyor line by increasing the slaughter capacity from 6,000 to 10,000 birds per hour. Preparatory work is already underway, we expect that from November 1 we will stop the plant, carry out re-equipment and then start it at a new speed, ”Zinyurov said. Also, according to him, sites in the Zonal District of the Altai Territory have already been selected, project documentation is being prepared for the construction of new poultry keeping sites: the company's development strategy assumes in 2025 to enter the production of 115 thousand birds in live weight. Last year, the enterprise produced about 67 thousand tons of poultry in live weight, this year the production volume should be over 80 thousand tons.
Entering the production of 115 thousand tons of live livestock will allow the enterprise to bring the slaughter and feed mills, as well as the hatchery to full capacity. At the same time, the capacity of the feed mill will also expand, design work is already underway, Zinyurov said. Last year, the plant produced more than 100,000 tons of compound feed, by 2024-2025 its capacity will double. Earlier, during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Cherkizovo General DIRECTOR Sergey Mikhailov discussed with the Governor of the Altai Territory Viktor Tomenko the next stage in the development of the Altai Broiler poultry complex.
Altai Broiler is the largest poultry MEAT producer in the Altai Territory and one of the largest in the Siberian Federal District. In December 2018, the Cherkizovo Group bought the complex from the Belgorod group of companies Prioskolie for RUB 4.6 billion. At that time, the poultry farm annually produced about 67 thousand tons of products in live weight. The first stage of modernization of the enterprise was completed in 2019, which made it possible to launch the production of products under the Petelinka brand.
