Brazilian livestock breeders will help Russia export halal products

Brazil's climate is well suited for growing cattle, so Brazil is a leader in beef production and exports a significant amount, including to Muslim countries, representatives of the Tatarstan authorities said at KazanForum. According to officials, RUSSIA can follow in the footsteps of Brazil.

Brazil ranks second among exporters of halal products, Tatarstan authorities said at the forum. According to them, there are 460 halal certification centers in the world, and the Brazilians are the second in this list. Mufti of Tatarstan Kamil Samigullin believes that nothing prevents Russia from following in the footsteps of Brazil and also achieving significant results in the EXPORT of halal. In the message, he also noted that KazanForum has a federal status and this emphasizes that Russia is interested in the development of halal products and halal culture, both for export and within the country.

Representatives of the Brazilian company Fambras Halal visited Tatarstan in December 2022, said Kamil Samigullin. They can help Russian producers increase the supply of halal MEAT for export to interested countries, the official believes, since they themselves are one of the largest exporters of halal products in the world. According to the official, the regional authorities are already discussing this issue with Brazilian experts.

The forum also emphasized that the halal products industry needs more trained professionals.
