Agroholding Mitprom changes owner: new opportunities in the pork market

Mitprom is one of the largest pork producers in the Altai region and RUSSIA, with three pig farms with a total capacity of 160 thousand heads and cultivating 18 thousand hectares of land. The estimated value of this company ranges from 2 to 3 billion rubles. The acquisition opens new horizons for the Stylobate Group of Companies, which has gained fame thanks to successful construction projects in Moscow.

Pig farming in Russia remains one of the most profitable areas of agriculture, with profit margins of around 15%, and investments in this sector typically pay off within five years. Demand for pork in the country is unusually high, and exports to Asia and the Middle East continue to grow, creating opportunities for companies like Mitprom to expand their markets.

Consolidation of assets under the control of large players such as GC Stylobate can become an important driver of growth in the industry, allowing for the optimization of production and increased investment in modern technologies. In the context of global economic instability, diversification of sales markets is becoming critical for the successful functioning of agribusiness, which emphasizes the importance of this acquisition for the future of pig farming in Russia.
