1,200 notifications from farmers in Priangarye and Buryatia were received as part of the implementation of the law on livestock by-products

Since the entry into force of the law on LLP, the supervisory authority has received 1,206 notifications from farmers in two regions of the country. So from citizens and organizations of the Republic of Buryatia - 598 notifications, in the Irkutsk region - 608 notifications.

Recall that the resolution establishes new requirements for the storage of PPG, laboratory research, and also introduces a ban on the introduction of unprocessed manure and litter into the soil. Storage of waste without organizing special sites, as well as their transportation without preliminary processing and laboratory tests, if they are used as fertilizers when applied to the soil with subsequent plowing, is strictly prohibited.

Due to the fact that PPG can be processed into fertilizers, environmental damage is reduced, the costs of organizing new landfills for waste disposal are reduced, and the formation of new unauthorized dumps is excluded.

Agricultural producers independently decide on the classification of substances formed during the maintenance of animals and poultry as LLS or as waste. When deciding to classify substances as LLP, as well as having determined the volumes, date of formation, planned terms and results of use in production, or transfer to other persons, the owners of LLP send a notification to the regional department of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR in the form approved by order of the Ministry of Agriculture until May 1, 2023 at this year.

If the notification is not sent within the specified period, then the substances formed during the maintenance of farm animals are recognized as waste.
