July 19, Mogilev. A criminal case has been initiated against a resident of the Klichev district for torturing a pregnant cohabitant. This was reported to BelTA in the information service of the prosecutor's office of the Mogilev region.

According to the materials of the case, a man, during quarrels with his cohabitant from January 24 to May 19, 2022, systematically beat her, striking her on various parts of her body. The last beating was recorded on May 19, 2022. Then, being in a state of alcoholic intoxication , the suspect, during a quarrel, deliberately inflicted a deliberately pregnant woman with two blows with his hand in the abdomen. By his actions, the man caused her physical pain.

As noted in the information service, earlier a resident of the Klichev district has already been convicted for torturing his cohabitant.

The prosecutor of the Klichev district initiated a criminal case under part 2 of article 154 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus, which he transferred to the Klichev district department of the Investigative Committee for the organization of a preliminary investigation.
