November 29, MINSK. In Minsk, a drunk driver was detained by a witness of an accident, BelTA informs with reference to the UGAI GUVD of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

A man called the telephone line 102 and said that a Renault car was moving along Pushkin Avenue in the direction of Timiryazev Street, the driver of which was behaving inappropriately, possibly in a state of intoxication. An indifferent man drove behind this car, reporting where he was going. At the intersection of Timiryazev and Narochanskaya streets, a 36-year-old Renault driver ran into a Peugeot car, after which he was detained by an eyewitness until the traffic police arrived.

A medical examination confirmed that the man was intoxicated (2.65 ppm). Administrative records have been filed against the driver.

The State Traffic Inspectorate draws attention: if you see that a driver with signs of intoxication is driving a vehicle, immediately report this by calling 102.
