
July 25, Minsk . A taxi driver turned to the operational duty service of the Staroborisovsky police department of the Borisovsky District Department of Internal Affairs, who said that the passenger had damaged his Skoda Rapid car. BelTA was informed about this by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee.
As it became known, a 56-year-old resident of Borisov left to order one of the entertainment venues in the district center. Intoxicated passengers got into the car. To avoid misunderstandings, the driver immediately clarified the cost of the trip, the men admitted that they had no money. But the driver decided to give passengers a ride home for free.Upon arrival at the destination, one of the passengers hit the wing of the car. The driver contacted the police.
A criminal case was opened against a 38-year-old man by the Borisov District Department of the Investigative Committee under Part 1 of Article 339 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code. The attacker repented of his deed and told law enforcement officers that he committed the crime under the influence of alcohol.
The sanction of the article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for up to three years.
