A drunken cyclist was hit by a car in the Ushachi district

January 26, MINSK. In the Ushachi district, a cyclist in a state of intoxication was hit by a car, BelTA learned from the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

On the afternoon of January 26, a 31-year-old MAZ driver knocked down a cyclist born in 1959, who was moving along the edge of the carriageway in the passing direction. As a result of an accident, a pensioner with bodily injuries was taken to a healthcare facility. He was under the influence of ALCOHOL at the time of the accident.

The incident is under investigation.
