A group of vacationers died in a fire in the Braslav region

July 23, Minsk . Three people died in a fire in the Braslav region. BELTA was informed about this by the Vitebsk Regional Emergency Situations Department.

During reconnaissance, EMERCOM workers discovered in one of the rooms, under a layer of collapsed ceiling and roof structures, the charred body of a man born in 1997, and then another lifeless man, born in 1991, and a woman, born in 1994, with no signs of life.

The owner of the house, born in 1968, lives in the agricultural town of Akhremovtsy and took ownership of the house this year. As it turned out, the day before the tragedy, his relatives (two nephews, one of them with his common-law wife) came on vacation and stayed in this house. Young people drank alcohol and smoked while on vacation. On the day of the tragedy, they went to the cemetery and visited their grandfather’s grave, then went to a neighbor’s bathhouse, where they continued their alcoholic feast, and then returned to their uncle’s house.

The fire destroyed the ceilings and roofing of the house and damaged the walls. The causes of the fire are being investigated. The alleged version is careless handling of fire when smoking.
