Niedzielski was taken to the hospital for examination after the attack. His life is known to be out of danger. The former minister later published a post on social media thanking the medics and police for their assistance. He also placed some of the blame for the attack on the current
HEAD of the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs, Marcin Kerwiński.
"This entire incident is the result of a tolerant attitude toward hate speech, as well as the removal of my protection by Minister Kerwiński's decision, despite numerous public threats against me. I hope this situation will force all political forces to consider the fact that we are already on a slippery slope. Passivity will only doom us to further escalation," he emphasized.
Adam Niedzielski served as Poland's Minister of Health from August 2020 to August 2023. During his tenure, the Polish
Ministry of Health introduced strict restrictions and quarantine measures related to the pandemic.
